Each year, we work with a respected Media Partner to conduct a detailed study of workplace culture across a wide range of Australian organisations. We share the detailed results of this study with all participating organisations, and we also identify and honour the  ‘Best Companies to Work For in Australia’ in order to recognise organisations in which employees are provided with a great work environment, and to encourage other organisations to become great workplaces.

The primary purpose of the annual 'Best Companies' study is to facilitate the sharing of information and knowledge amongst all organisations that have a sincere wish to improve the quality of their workplaces.

Although the opportunity to be recognised as one of Australia's best employers is important and brings many significant benefits, many organisations take part in the study because of the opportunity to learn and improve, rather than to simply 'make the list'.
